Provably Fair Draws
We lock every giveaway before it opens and draw it with a number nobody controls, not even us. When it's done, everything is published here so you can recompute the winners yourself, right in your browser.
How it works
Commit
Before the giveaway opens we generate a secret seed and publish only its SHA-256 hash. The seed can't be changed later without the hash changing too.
Reveal
The giveaway names a future Bitcoin block. Its hash, unknown to anyone until it is mined, becomes the second seed of the draw.
Recompute
After the draw we publish the secret seed and every eligible entry. This page reruns the draw in your browser and checks each winner.
Entries are X handles, lowercased, without "@", deduplicated and sorted alphabetically. For draw k (starting at 0) we compute
SHA-256(serverSeed + ":" + clientSeed + ":" + k), read the first 8 hex characters as a number and take it modulo the number of
remaining entries. That position in the sorted list wins and leaves the pool before the next draw.
